What is the difference between the truth and the belief?
Belief means to believe on the things what others say to you. Belief does not contain your own experience and your own knowledge. We can also say that belief is the borrowed knowledge of others that we don't know. Whereas the truth is based on your own experience. It does not depend on the sayings of others. Suppose if you have to cross a bridge and you are just about to do it. You have heard of this bridge from many people that the bridge is very strong and it is very safe to cross it. Now you are fearless for crossing the bridge, because now you have a belief based on the knowledge of others that the bridge is very strong. What if the bridge collapses just the next moment ! Then your belief will be shattered and the truth will expose itself to you. Then you will come to know the truth that this bridge was never strong enough to support a man's weight. Now, suppose if you have crossed the bridge successfully and the bridge did not collapse. Now the belief that the bridge is strong enough will become a truth for you because now the experience with the bridge is yours not borrowed.
